The guide's picks include:

- Apple AirPods Pro 3 at $199 (save $50)
- Apple Watch Series 11 (GPS, 46mm) at $379 (save $50)
- Dyson V15 Detect cordless vacuum at $649.99 (save $200)
- Samsung 27-inch Odyssey G55C gaming monitor at $179 (save $70)
- Nintendo Switch 2 with Mario Kart World at $511.88 (save $52.92)

The MacBook Pro is the one to read closely. The 14-inch model with an M5 Pro chip, 24GB of memory and a 1TB drive costs $2,069.10, or $129.90 off $2,199. The guide noted that this price comes from a third-party seller with good reviews, not from Walmart itself. It also pointed to Amazon, where a 16GB configuration is $1,837. That is a different spec, so the two prices are not a direct comparison.

The percentages tell the story. The OLED discount is about 48%. The AirPods cut is 20% off a $249 list price, the Watch is about 12%, and the MacBook is about 6%. A big-ticket TV with a high starting price produces the headline number, while the Apple deals are modest trims.

The TV aisle offers a useful yardstick. The same list shows a TCL 65-inch QM6K mini-LED set at $648, which costs less than half the LG's sale price. The guide called LG's C-Series its top OLED pick, citing near-zero blooming and a 165Hz refresh rate across four HDMI 2.1 ports. Whether that is worth $751.99 more than the TCL depends on how dark your room is and how much you game.","["black-friday","walmart","deals","tvs"]","2026-10-22T16:37:36.000Z","2026-10-22T17:18:14.684Z","2026-11-08T00:16:52.861Z","published","The draft still never names Mashable, calling it only 'a shopping guide' or 'the guide', so name Mashable as the source of the Walmart sale list, the price-history and Amazon/Target checks, the MacBook third-party-seller caveat, the $1,837 Amazon price and the LG C-Series 'top OLED pick' claim; the unsupported Apple-discount line is gone, so no further cuts are needed.",[24,30,34,38
"editor-r1","editor",1,"Name Mashable as the source of the price-history and Amazon/Target comparisons instead of the vague 'the editors who compiled the list', and fix or remove the unsupported claim that Apple gets the shallowest discounts (the 9% Switch 2 bundle is shallower than the Apple Watch at 12% and AirPods at 20%, and 'fits how rarely Apple lets its prices move' is unsourced).","open
"editor-r2",2,"Name Mashable as the source wherever the draft says 'the list' or 'the shopping writers behind the list' (the price-history and Amazon/Target checks, the MacBook third-party-seller caveat, the $1,837 Amazon price), since readers can't identify an unnamed list.
