TP-Link's Archer BE550 Wi-Fi 7 router is $80 off during Amazon's October Prime Day sale.
The tri-band router, normally $249.99, is down to $169.99 for the two-day sale, which runs October 6 through October 7. It handles 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz bands and supports Wi-Fi 7 features like Multi-Link Operation and 320MHz channels. All five ports - one WAN, four LAN - run at 2.5Gbps, so a desktop, a console, and a NAS can each pull multi-gigabit speeds at once. A USB 3.0 port and TP-Link's Tether app round out the hardware, and EasyMesh support means you can add a second unit later if range becomes an issue.
Wi-Fi 7 routers have mostly stayed in premium territory, and a sub-$200 price for one with genuine multi-gigabit wiring is still rare. The catch is that 2.5Gbps WAN port - it caps the router below what something like the eero Max 7 can deliver, so the discount matters more if your internet plan tops out at 2.5Gbps or less.
Good range for a standalone box, but it's not a mesh system, so treat EasyMesh support as a future upgrade path, not a guarantee you'll never need one.
