TCL's 75-inch R7D 4K TV just hit its lowest price ever on Amazon.
The set is marked down to $599.99, a $110 cut from its $709.99 list price, as part of Amazon's October Prime Day event. It's a QLED-based 4K display running TCL's Roku TV software, with motion-smoothing tech and a dedicated gaming mode for lower input lag. The price makes it one of the cheapest 75-inch sets in TCL's current Amazon lineup, sitting well below the brand's Mini LED models like the 65-inch QM8L SQD, which is $1,199 even on sale.
That gap is the real story. TCL splits its lineup between basic QLED sets like the R7D and pricier Mini LED panels such as the QM8K and QM8L SQD, which use more precise backlighting for better contrast and brightness. The R7D skips that tech, so picture quality won't match TCL's higher-end TVs - but at $600 for 75 inches of screen, it's hard to argue with the math.
Prime Day TV deals are reliably the biggest draw of these sales, and this one is TCL doing what TCL does best: good-enough specs at a price that undercuts the competition. Just don't expect the Mini LED glow.
