It is billed as the first comprehensive review of classic NLP work across all three languages together.\n\nThat resource gap matters beyond Nigeria. Low-resource languages get left out of translation tools, voice assistants, and chatbots trained mostly on English and a handful of other high-resource languages, even when they have hundreds of millions of speakers.
