Sony's second-generation Inzone M10S II claims the fastest pixel response of any OLED gaming monitor yet, at 0.02 milliseconds.
Built with input from esports outfit Fnatic, the M10S II keeps the 27-inch, 1440p OLED formula from the original M10S but swaps in LG's newest Tandem WOLED panel. That upgrade pushes peak HDR brightness to 1,500 nits and full-screen brightness to 335 nits, while refresh rate tops out at 540Hz at 1440p or 720Hz if you drop to 720p. The monitor adds dual-mode scaling down to a 24.5-inch window, motion blur reduction, anti-VRR flicker tech, and a matte anti-glare coating instead of the usual glossy finish. It ships for $1,099 in the US, backed by a three-year warranty that covers OLED burn-in.
The 0.02ms spec is more bragging right than a real usability leap - it's hard to argue anyone can feel the gap between that and the 0.03ms response already standard on rival OLEDs. What's more consequential is the tradeoff Sony made to get there: the panel uses an RGWB subpixel layout that boosts brightness at the cost of color saturation, and the matte coating dulls some of OLED's usual contrast punch in exchange for glare resistance.
For $1,099 you could instead get a 32-inch 4K Asus ROG Swift PG32UCWM or a 39-inch 5K2K Alienware AW3926QW, both with punchier RGB-stripe panels. The M10S II isn't built to look the best - it's built to be the fastest, full stop.
