Dyson's own website is where the real Prime Day discounts are hiding this year.
While Amazon's Prime Day runs June 23-26, Dyson launched a competing sale event from June 21-27 with its own set of discounts. The headline vacuum deal is the V12 Detect Slim at $479.99 — $250 off its regular $729.99 price. Hair tools including the Supersonic Nural (certified refurbished) drop to $229.99, and the AM07 Cool Tower Fan is $249.99. Amazon tends to be a reasonable place to find Dyson hair tool deals, but historically underperforms on vacuums — which makes Dyson's direct sale the smarter starting point.
The more important context here is product timing. Dyson released three new stick vacuums in early June, and one of them — the V8 Cyclone at $399.99 — is a significant upgrade over the older V8 Absolute model currently on sale for $349.99. The $50 price gap is thin enough that buying the discounted old model is a bad trade. Knowing the product lineup before a sale matters as much as the discount itself.
Dyson's direct sale also includes certified refurbished options that extend the savings: a refurbished V8 Absolute at $199.99 and a refurbished V15 Detect Extra at $369.99. The Spot+Scrub Ai robot vacuum is one model worth skipping regardless of price — more reliable robot vacuums exist at lower costs on Amazon.
