The Shark FlexStyle hair dryer and styler has dropped to $179.10 at Sephora, its lowest price yet, in a deal that runs through November 9.
The price applies to the special-edition Winter Pearl colorway and requires two things: free Beauty Insider membership and the code ALLONSALE at checkout. The code adds 10% on top of the $199 sale price Sephora already lists. The list price is $299, so the savings come to $119.90, or 40%. The previous low was $199.99.
That 40% figure measures against the list price, and the more telling comparison is the sale history. The $199 price was already close to the old record, so the code's real contribution is about $20.
Higher loyalty tiers go further. VIB members can stack 15% and Rouge members 20%, provided they spent at least $350 or $1,000 at Sephora in the past year. Rouge members would pay $159.20, a 47% total discount.
The FlexStyle is what the deal listing calls a Dyson Airwrap dupe, meaning a cheaper alternative to Dyson's multistyler. The listing describes the Airwrap as much pricier, though it gives no figure. Its reviewer was impressed by the base, which twists so the tool works like a regular L-shaped hair dryer. This model ships with four attachments: two auto-wrap curling barrels, an oval brush and a styling concentrator.
The publication that ran the listing also gave the FlexStyle a Choice Award and named it a top Christmas gift. That is an endorsement, not a price guarantee. For most shoppers the deal is a modest improvement on an existing discount, and the deepest cut goes to the customers who already spend the most at Sephora.
