Samsung's 32-inch Smart Monitor M9 (M90SF) is $1,199.99 on Amazon this week, down from its usual $1,599.99.
The M9 runs a 4K QD-OLED panel at 165Hz with FreeSync Premium Pro and G-Sync support, meaning it covers both serious desk work and light gaming without a dedicated console. It ships with Samsung's Tizen OS, giving it Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, and Samsung TV Plus out of the box — all controlled by a solar-charging remote. A built-in 4K webcam handles video calls, and SmartThings integration lets it act as a smart-home hub. PCMag rated it "excellent" for how it balances those competing roles.
The case for spending $1,200 on a 32-inch monitor is essentially a case for consolidation: one screen replacing a monitor, a TV, and a streaming device saves desk space and cable clutter. At 138 ppi, text stays crisp for spreadsheet work; the matte coating manages reflections that glossy OLED panels routinely struggle with indoors.
The caveats are real, though. At 250 nits peak brightness, it trails brighter OLED competitors, and a single HDMI port feels stingy at this price point. The $400 discount makes the M9 easier to justify — but "lowest price yet" on a $1,600 monitor is still a high floor for most buyers.
