The standard 44mm LTE Galaxy Watch 8 is also discounted, from $379.99 to $299.99. Both watches run the same Galaxy AI features, including Google Gemini, sleep coaching, and AI-generated running plans for anything from a 5K to a marathon. The Classic's extra $90 buys a stainless-steel case, a physical rotating bezel, 49 hours of battery life versus a daily charge, double the storage at 64GB, and military-grade durability ratings.\n\nThe real split between these two watches isn't features, it's hardware longevity and physical controls. A rotating bezel means less frantic screen-swiping, and two days of battery beats the one-day grind most smartwatches force on you. But Samsung still locks gesture controls, AI insights, and snoring detection to its own phones, and the whole thing needs an Android 12-plus device with at least 1.5GB of memory, so this isn't a universal Android watch, it's a Samsung ecosystem watch.\n\nPrime Day discounts move fast and reset often, so treat claims of record-low pricing as a snapshot, not a promise.","[\"samsung\",\"galaxy-watch-8-classic\",\"smartwatches\",\"prime-day-deals\"]","2026-10-07T21:50:00.000Z","2026-10-08T05:27:14.688Z","2026-10-08T05:27:20.617Z","published",null,[],"deals",[26,27,28,29],"samsung","galaxy-watch-8-classic","smartwatches","prime-day-deals",[31],{"name":32,"url":33},"Lifehacker","https:\u002F\u002Flifehacker.com\u002Ftech\u002Flast-minute-samsung-galaxy-watch-8-classic-sale-october-prime-day-2026?utm_medium=RSS",0,{"sections":36},[37,42,47,52,56,61,66,71,76,80,85,90,95,100],{"name":38,"slug":39,"count":40,"latest_published_at":41},"AI","ai",6518,"2026-10-08T11:00:00.000Z",{"name":43,"slug":44,"count":45,"latest_published_at":46},"Security","security",912,"2026-10-08T10:30:00.000Z",{"name":48,"slug":49,"count":50,"latest_published_at":51},"Policy","policy",475,"2026-10-08T14:04:42.000Z",{"name":53,"slug":24,"count":54,"latest_published_at":55},"Deals",461,"2026-10-08T10:22:14.000Z",{"name":57,"slug":58,"count":59,"latest_published_at":60},"Hardware","hardware",223,"2026-10-08T08:30:04.000Z",{"name":62,"slug":63,"count":64,"latest_published_at":65},"Science","science",187,"2026-10-07T04:00:00.000Z",{"name":67,"slug":68,"count":69,"latest_published_at":70},"Consumer Tech","consumer-tech",175,"2026-10-08T09:16:05.000Z",{"name":72,"slug":73,"count":74,"latest_published_at":75},"Software","software",113,"2026-10-07T18:10:00.000Z",{"name":77,"slug":78,"count":74,"latest_published_at":79},"Startups","startups","2026-10-07T23:36:57.000Z",{"name":81,"slug":82,"count":83,"latest_published_at":84},"Dev Tools","dev-tools",105,"2026-10-07T16:59:11.000Z",{"name":86,"slug":87,"count":88,"latest_published_at":89},"General","general",61,"2026-10-07T22:00:24.000Z",{"name":91,"slug":92,"count":93,"latest_published_at":94},"Gaming","gaming",56,"2026-10-07T12:00:00.000Z",{"name":96,"slug":97,"count":98,"latest_published_at":99},"Reviews","reviews",33,"2026-10-05T11:57:17.000Z",{"name":101,"slug":102,"count":103,"latest_published_at":104},"How-To","how-to",8,"2026-10-05T09:00:00.000Z"]
