Samsung's rotating-bezel Galaxy Watch 8 Classic just got $160 cheaper for Prime Day.
Amazon dropped the 46mm LTE Galaxy Watch 8 Classic from $549.99 to $389.99, its lowest price yet according to price trackers. The standard 44mm LTE Galaxy Watch 8 is also discounted, from $379.99 to $299.99. Both watches run the same Galaxy AI features, including Google Gemini, sleep coaching, and AI-generated running plans for anything from a 5K to a marathon. The Classic's extra $90 buys a stainless-steel case, a physical rotating bezel, 49 hours of battery life versus a daily charge, double the storage at 64GB, and military-grade durability ratings.
The real split between these two watches isn't features, it's hardware longevity and physical controls. A rotating bezel means less frantic screen-swiping, and two days of battery beats the one-day grind most smartwatches force on you. But Samsung still locks gesture controls, AI insights, and snoring detection to its own phones, and the whole thing needs an Android 12-plus device with at least 1.5GB of memory, so this isn't a universal Android watch, it's a Samsung ecosystem watch.
Prime Day discounts move fast and reset often, so treat claims of record-low pricing as a snapshot, not a promise.
