Walmart is selling an MSI Vector 16 gaming laptop with an Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti for $1,399, down from $1,749.
The machine pairs that GPU with an Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX processor, but only 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD - both smaller than what usually ships alongside a card this capable. TechRadar, which tracks gaming laptop deals daily, calls it one of the cheapest RTX 5070 Ti laptops it has seen. A similarly specced model is also available at Best Buy this week for shoppers who want to compare. The storage in particular is tight for anyone planning to install more than a couple of modern games at once.
What makes this worth a look isn't the discount alone - it's the GPU math. The RTX 5070 Ti carries 12GB of VRAM versus 8GB on the more common RTX 5060, and that gap tends to matter more for frame rates than extra system RAM does. A 16GB machine with this card should still outperform a 32GB machine running a 5060.
Gaming laptop deals have been scarce all year, so a real price cut on a high-end GPU stands out - just don't expect this one to double as a storage-heavy workstation.
