Roborock's flagship robot lawn mower just got a lot cheaper.
The RockMow X120H, an all-wheel-drive model that uses 360-degree LiDAR and dual cameras to map yards without buried wires, is selling for $1,799.99 on Amazon, down from its usual $3,199 list price. That's a 44% cut and the lowest price the mower has hit yet. It can climb 80% inclines, roll over 3-inch bumps, and use AI cameras to detect and avoid obstacles like hoses and toys in real time. The deal comes with three years of built-in 4G connectivity, no subscription required, plus GPS tracking and IPX6 waterproofing.
Robot mowers have lagged behind robot vacuums because mapping a lawn is harder than mapping a living room - grass has no walls to bounce a laser off of. Roborock's LiDAR-and-camera approach, also seen in rivals like Dreame's newer mower with its edge-trimming swing arm, is the industry's answer to that problem, replacing the buried-wire setups that made earlier mowers a weekend installation project.
Still, $1,799.99 is a discount off a $3,199 list price that few people ever paid at full rate - and the timing right before Prime Day suggests this record low is designed to look better than it might a month from now.
