Users in the UK, France, Romania and Spain said they could not move money. The disruption hit several features at once, including opening the app and paying by card. Revolut is an app-first financial service, so the app and the card are the two main ways customers reach their money. When both fail together, there is no branch to walk into and no obvious second route.\n\nThe numbers need a careful reading. Downdetector counts reports, not affected customers, and 1,500 is a floor that depends on how many people think to file one. Still, complaints from four countries at once suggest a fault in something shared, such as core systems or a processing layer, rather than a local glitch. That is an inference, not something the company has confirmed.\n\nThe cause is the detail worth watching for.
