The 30th Celebration Elite Trainer Box stayed at $159.99 through an invite-only lottery listing, while a third-party seller offered the same box outright for $177.23. A Lego Pokemon Eevee set hit $47.99, matching its all-time low, and Pokemon Legends: Z-A for Switch 2 dropped to $39.88. Dozens of smaller TCG bundles, tins, and boxes saw cuts ranging from about $1 to $54.\n\nNone of this moved because Pokemon is scarce. It moved because retailers lean on recognizable franchises to pull shoppers into a sale event, then let the discount do the marketing. The lottery system on the Elite Trainer Box is also a tell: when a retailer has to ration access to a sale price, that is a supply problem dressed up as a deal.\n\nWhether any of these prices survive past Prime Day is unclear, and Amazon has a habit of letting sale pricing linger on stray listings for a day or two after an event technically ends, so a price check before buying is still worth the thirty seconds it takes.","[\"pokemon\",\"prime day\",\"deals\",\"amazon\"]","2026-10-07T11:47:22.000Z","2026-10-08T11:52:37.188Z","2026-10-08T11:52:41.340Z","published",null,[24],{"id":25,"reviewer":26,"round":27,"reason":28,"status":29},"editor-r1","editor",1,"The piece is framed as if Prime Day is still live ('final hours,' 'ends tonight'), but the source sale ended last night (Oct. 7) relative to today's date (Oct. 8), so the writer needs to update the headline, dek, and lede to past tense (e.g., 'Prime Day's deals have ended') and confirm whether any of these listings are still live before publishing.","resolved","deals",[32,33,30,34],"pokemon","prime day","amazon",[36],{"name":37,"url":38},"Mashable","https:\u002F\u002Fmashable.com\u002Flife\u002Fbest-october-prime-day-pokemon-deals-live-2026",0,{"sections":41},[42,47,52,57,61,66,71,76,81,86,91,96,101,106],{"name":43,"slug":44,"count":45,"latest_published_at":46},"AI","ai",6537,"2026-10-08T20:04:26.000Z",{"name":48,"slug":49,"count":50,"latest_published_at":51},"Security","security",923,"2026-10-08T19:57:17.000Z",{"name":53,"slug":54,"count":55,"latest_published_at":56},"Policy","policy",481,"2026-10-08T19:45:00.000Z",{"name":58,"slug":30,"count":59,"latest_published_at":60},"Deals",474,"2026-10-08T22:00:00.000Z",{"name":62,"slug":63,"count":64,"latest_published_at":65},"Hardware","hardware",229,"2026-10-08T20:47:10.000Z",{"name":67,"slug":68,"count":69,"latest_published_at":70},"Science","science",190,"2026-10-08T21:23:31.000Z",{"name":72,"slug":73,"count":74,"latest_published_at":75},"Consumer Tech","consumer-tech",180,"2026-10-08T18:21:59.000Z",{"name":77,"slug":78,"count":79,"latest_published_at":80},"Startups","startups",117,"2026-10-08T16:45:00.000Z",{"name":82,"slug":83,"count":84,"latest_published_at":85},"Software","software",114,"2026-10-08T17:57:01.000Z",{"name":87,"slug":88,"count":89,"latest_published_at":90},"Dev Tools","dev-tools",105,"2026-10-07T16:59:11.000Z",{"name":92,"slug":93,"count":94,"latest_published_at":95},"General","general",65,"2026-10-08T19:06:41.000Z",{"name":97,"slug":98,"count":99,"latest_published_at":100},"Gaming","gaming",58,"2026-10-08T20:08:45.000Z",{"name":102,"slug":103,"count":104,"latest_published_at":105},"Reviews","reviews",34,"2026-10-08T14:00:22.000Z",{"name":107,"slug":108,"count":109,"latest_published_at":110},"How-To","how-to",8,"2026-10-05T09:00:00.000Z"]
