Bluetooth speaker prices are dropping for Amazon's October Prime Day, but the size of the discount depends heavily on which speaker you pick.
Soundcore, Ultimate Ears, JBL, and Marshall speakers are on sale through Amazon ahead of the Oct. 6-7 sale window, with prices spanning $22.99 for the pocket-sized Soundcore Select 4 Go up to $249.99 for the home-audio Marshall Stanmore III. The percentage savings swing just as widely. The JBL Flip 5, a 2019-era model, is only 10 percent off at $89.95, down from $99.95. The Marshall Emberton III gets the steepest cut of the bunch, dropping 44 percent to $99.99 from its usual $179.99.
That spread is a reminder that a Prime Day percentage isn't a reliable shorthand for value. An aging JBL speaker getting trimmed by $10 looks generous next to a current Marshall model getting cut nearly in half, even though the dollar amounts tell a different story. Comparing battery life, water resistance, and actual price paid matters more than chasing the biggest percent-off badge.
