Amazon's October Prime Day sale knocks $1,202 off a 65-inch Samsung S90H OLED TV, bringing it down to $1,497.99.
Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days event runs through midnight on Oct. 7, and TVs are getting some of the steepest cuts of the sale. The Samsung S90H OLED, which uses a 128-neural-network processor for upscaling and supports Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, drops from $2,699.99. TCL's 65-inch QM8L mini-LED QLED set is down $1,302 to $1,197.99, its lowest recorded price. On the cheaper end, Amazon's own 55-inch Ember 4-Series 4K TV is $279.99, a $180 discount, and the 43-inch version is under $200.
That spread matters more than any single markdown. The discounts cover both a $2,700 OLED and a sub-$300 Ember set, which suggests this is a broad clearance of 2026 inventory rather than a one-off deal on expensive hardware. 2026-model TVs have been on the market long enough for retailers to discount them meaningfully, continuing a years-long trend of TVs getting cheaper even as the underlying tech improves.
Still, claims of a 'best price ever' are hard to verify without checking a tracker yourself, and Black Friday is only a few weeks away if you want to see whether the cuts go deeper.
