Amazon's Prime Day has brought a wave of Apple discounts, with several products hitting record or near-record lows.
The AirPods Pro 3 are down to $179.99 at Amazon and Best Buy — a record low of $169 briefly appeared at Walmart but sold out. For context, the AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation are currently $148.99, making the Pro 3 only about $31 more. Given the Pro 3 adds better noise cancellation and a heart rate sensor, that gap is hard to argue against. The Apple Watch Series 11 (42mm, GPS) has also hit a new low at $279 on Amazon, down from $399. The Apple Watch Ultra 3 is $649 — $150 off — also a new low, bundled with three band styles. On the laptop side, the 13-inch MacBook Air with M5, 16GB RAM, and 512GB storage is $949.99, which is $50 above its all-time low.
What makes this Prime Day cycle notable is the breadth: it's rare to see flagship Apple audio, multiple Watch tiers, and a current-generation MacBook discounted simultaneously. Apple products typically hold price well outside of Black Friday windows, so the compression across categories is worth paying attention to if you've been sitting on a purchase.
That said, these are retailer discounts, not Apple-authorized price cuts — availability has already proven volatile, as the $169 AirPods Pro 3 deal demonstrated. If something looks right, waiting for the "better deal" this cycle has a track record of backfiring.
