Prime Day 2026 is delivering genuine discounts on big-screen TVs, not just shelf-clearance padding.
The headline deal is the TCL 65-inch Q8ML Mini LED QLED, down to $1,499.99 from $2,499.99 at Amazon - a $1,000 cut on a model that only launched in April 2026. The Q8ML adds "super quantum dot" mini LEDs and 4,000 local dimming zones over its predecessor, the QM8K. At Best Buy, the LG 65-inch C5 OLED drops to $1,199.99 from $2,699.99 - a $1,500 reduction - putting it at the same price as the Samsung S90F OLED and the Sony Bravia XR8B. The LG C6, a newer model, sits at $1,999.99 after a $700 discount. On the budget end, TCL's QM64L hits $529.99, down $270.
The convergence of three OLED sets at or near $1,199.99 is the more interesting story: it compresses a tier that used to spread across several hundred dollars, and forces a direct specs comparison shoppers rarely get to make at identical price points. The TCL Q8ML deal also includes a free 55-inch TCL Q65 TV, which is the kind of bundle that makes the effective per-panel cost hard to beat.
Sales run through June 26. These prices are low enough that waiting for Black Friday is unlikely to yield meaningfully better numbers - though, as always, that is exactly what every Prime Day article says.
