Amazon Prime Day 2026 is running June 23-26, a month earlier than its traditional July slot.
Amazon shifted the sale's timing this year without much explanation, but the discounts follow the familiar playbook. The Apple Watch SE 3 is at $199 (down $50), the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition drops to $144.99 (down $55), and the Echo Spot hits $44.99 (down $35). The DJI Mini 3 is $269, saving $150 off its regular price. Sony's WH-CH520 - the source's pick for best headphones deal - is $29.99, down from $69.99.
The standout for headphones shoppers is the Sony WH-1000XM5 at $198, cut from $399.99 - a 50% drop and an all-time low. That price puts a still-competitive flagship pair within reach of budget buyers, especially given that the newer WH-1000XM6 is only discounted to $378. The gap between last year's flagship and this year's is now $180, which makes the case for the older model hard to argue with.
Prime Day has grown predictable enough that the surprise this year is the calendar shift, not the deals themselves - competing sales at Best Buy, Target, and Walmart are running in parallel, so the leverage Amazon once held by going it alone is thinner than it used to be.
