Amazon dropped the price of the Pokemon TCG Prismatic Evolutions Elite Trainer Box to $173.99, shaving $24.99 off its usual $198.98 tag.
The listing comes from third-party seller Non_StopGaming, not Amazon itself, and includes free delivery estimated for October 19. The box ships with nine Prismatic Evolutions booster packs, a full-art foil Eevee promo card, 65 Eevee-themed sleeves, 45 Energy cards, dice, condition markers, a player's guide, a four-divider collector's box, and a Pokemon TCG Live code card. It's one of the pricier boxes from the Scarlet and Violet era, and this cut undercuts the last notable sale Amazon ran on it.
But "on sale" is relative. Walmart is currently selling the same box for $157.99, and TCGplayer has sealed copies for as little as $140.20, just a few dollars over its tracked market price of $135.93. Amazon's discount looks generous measured against its own list price, but it's still the most expensive of the three options.
That gap matters because Prismatic Evolutions is the set collectors chase for cards like the SIR Umbreon ex, which trades for over $1,300 as a single. When demand is driven by a handful of chase pulls, a retailer can mark a box down and still charge a premium over where the wider market actually sits.
