The Pokémon TCG 30th Celebration Greninja ex Box is $10 cheaper on Amazon this week.
Amazon cut the box from its $99.99 list price to $89.49, sold through third-party seller Gem City Supplies with delivery estimated between Sept. 25 and Oct. 1. Walmart has a nearly identical deal, $89.96 through marketplace seller BG Collectibles. Each box includes four 30th Celebration booster packs, a foil Greninja ex promo card, and an oversized foil version for display. TCGplayer sells the same box for about $65 with shipping, close to its $61.07 market value.
Amazon costs about 38 percent more than TCGplayer's $64.99 price, and that gap is easy to miss if you only compare Amazon's sale price to its own list price. The booster packs carry a shot at 30th Celebration chase cards worth far more than the box itself, including the $170+ SIR Mew ex and $130+ Gengar ex, which is likely what keeps demand steady at the higher retail price.
A roughly 10 percent discount looks better when you don't check what the box costs somewhere else.
