Nintendo is merging Pokemon Legends: Z-A and its Mega Dimension expansion into a single physical disc.
The Pokemon Legends: Z-A Nintendo Switch 2 Edition and Mega Dimension bundle launches Oct. 29. It includes the base game set in Lumiose City, the Mega Dimension DLC that extends the endgame story around the Mythical Pokemon Hoopa, and a code for 100 Ultra Balls. Buyers skip the eShop entirely - no extra downloads, no voucher codes to redeem. Preorders are rolling out at the Pokemon Center, Amazon, Target, and Best Buy, with Amazon offering a price guarantee between order and release day.
This is Nintendo tacitly admitting that splitting a game and its expansion across separate purchases creates friction, especially for anyone who skipped the DLC the first time around. It is the same complete-edition logic publishers use to mop up players who sat out a season pass - bundle everything once the story wraps, then sell it as the definitive version.
If you already own both pieces, there is nothing new here - this bundle is for the holdouts, not the completionists.
