Oppo's Find X10 Pro Max is a camera phone with almost no weak spots after three weeks of testing, the reviewer wrote, but it costs £1,499 in the UK, £400 more than the Find X9 Pro did. The reviewer gave it 3/5 for value.
The headline change is on the back: three 200MP sensors, covering a main camera (f/1.5), an ultra-wide (f/2.2) and a 3x telephoto (f/2.1). Each sensor is at least 1/1.56-inch, a size that helps in low light. Every lens can record video at up to 8K/30fps or 4K/120fps, with open-gate capture, Log recording and Dolby Vision. The selfie camera is 50MP. The phone also gets a MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chip and a 6.78-inch OLED screen that adjusts between 1 and 144Hz, though Oppo said only a few games, including COD: Mobile, PUBG and Free Fire, use the full 144Hz.
There is no X10 Pro this year, only the X10 and the Pro Max. The reviewer treats the Pro Max as the X9 Pro's successor, which makes the increase about 36% on the £1,099 launch price.
Most phones pair one strong main camera with weaker secondary lenses. Matching sensors remove that trade-off, which is why the reviewer argues the phone could replace a compact point-and-shoot or vlogging camera.
Pricing context helps a little. The 512GB iPhone 18 Pro Max also costs £1,499, and the 512GB Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra costs more. The Oppo ships in one configuration, 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, so those 512GB models are the closest comparison. In the UK, Oppo is also offering £100 off for a limited time, plus a free accessory worth £500: the Hasselblad Teleconverter kit, Oppo Watch X3 or Oppo Pad 5.
Two caveats apply. The phone is not sold in the US, and Australian availability is still to be confirmed. The reviewer also tested the larger-capacity battery version, while the spec sheet lists 7,150mAh for Europe and 8,000mAh for APAC, so the praise for battery life comes from the bigger cell.
