Oppo's base-model flagship now costs the same as last year's Pro. The Find X10 launches at £1,099, which is £200 above the £899 Find X9 and level with the Find X9 Pro. Australian pricing is still to be confirmed, and the phone is not sold in the US.
The hardware is closer to a Pro than a standard phone. It has a 6.59-inch AMOLED screen (2768 x 1272 pixels), a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip, and three rear cameras: a 200MP main, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 200MP telephoto at 2.8x. The battery is 7,150mAh in Europe and 8,000mAh in Asia-Pacific, with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. It runs Android 17 with Oppo's ColorOS 17 skin, weighs 216g, and carries IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings. The box includes an 80W charger and a silicone case, and buying direct from Oppo adds a free Hasselblad Teleconverter Kit or an Oppo Watch X3.
There is one configuration: 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. That is less RAM than the Find X9 Pro had, with the same storage. The reviewer called the cut disappointing but said performance stayed excellent, and scored the phone 3 out of 5 for value and 4 out of 5 for design.
The price is the real story. Oppo did not rename a tier so much as move it. Measured against the Find X9 Pro, the price is flat and RAM is the only visible give. Measured against the Find X9, it is a roughly 22% increase. Above both sits the Find X10 Pro Max, with three 200MP cameras and a £1,499 price.
Oppo is not alone here. The reviewer noted that the standard iPhone 17 is approaching the launch price of the iPhone 15 Pro, and that Android makers are raising prices across the board.
The reviewer also called the Find X10 the most iPhone-like Oppo yet, resembling the iPhone 17 Pro. That leaves a question for buyers: does a phone with a base-model name still feel like one at £1,099?
