Ninja is cutting $50 off its FrostVault 50-QT cooler on Amazon, bringing the price down to $199.99 from $249.99.
The deal went live Sept. 29, more than a week ahead of Prime Day, which runs Oct. 6-7 this year. The FrostVault holds up to 45 cans plus ice and keeps that ice frozen for days, according to the listing. It also has a dry-zone drawer for storing food at a chilled temperature without it sitting in meltwater, and it's pitched for camping, tailgating, and backyard use, not just multi-day trips.
Here's the part worth noticing: camping season is basically over by late September. Retailers routinely discount outdoor gear right as demand drops, both to clear warehouse space and to ride the wave of pre-Prime Day shopping content. Calling this an early Prime Day deal is technically accurate but a little generous. It's closer to seasonal clearance wearing a Prime Day badge.
That doesn't make the price bad. Twenty percent off a well-reviewed 50-quart cooler is a fine deal whether you're planning October tailgates or just want ice that lasts through a long weekend. Just don't expect it to look meaningfully different once actual Prime Day arrives.
