A lifetime license for Microsoft's last non-subscription Office suite is on sale for $16.97.
StackSocial is selling a one-time license for Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2019 for Windows through Oct. 4, marked down from $229 to $16.97. The license activates on a single Windows 10 or 11 PC and covers seven apps: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Publisher, and Access. Buyers get the license key and download link by email, with a seven-day window to redeem it. The 2019 build includes improved inking tools, added Excel analysis features, PowerPoint upgrades, and refinements to Outlook's email and contact handling, and it supports every language Microsoft ships for the suite.
Microsoft has spent years pushing everyone toward Microsoft 365 subscriptions that run $70 to $100 a year, so a permanent license priced at a fraction of one year's fee is the kind of deal that shows up through resellers, not Microsoft's own store. The tradeoff: this is frozen at 2019 feature levels for good, with no Copilot and no future app updates, just the core programs and whatever patches ship for that version.
If all you need is Word and Excel to open files without the AI extras, that is an easy tradeoff to make.
