The preview revealed three unannounced products: the Meta Adventurer, the Meta Fury, and Meta Glasses by Kylie — the last one a celebrity-branded variant tied to Kylie Jenner. None of these have been officially announced or given a ship date. The hands-on is a preview, not a product launch, and details remain subject to change. What's notable is the apparent absence of the Ray-Ban name, which has anchored Meta's wearables since the first Ray-Ban Stories in 2021.
If Meta is indeed stepping away from the Ray-Ban co-branding, that's a meaningful strategic signal — the partnership with EssilorLuxottica gave the glasses instant fashion credibility at a time when "smart glasses" still conjured memories of Google Glass. Swapping that for a celebrity collab model is a different bet: broader pop-culture reach, less heritage weight. Whether that trade works depends entirely on whether the hardware has matured enough to sell itself.
