It looks like a chunky smartwatch with no strap, just a screen and a lanyard for carrying it. A fingerprint sensor on the top right corner wakes the agent so you can start talking. There's also a small camera and what appears to be at least three microphone holes on the front.\n\nThe pitch, per Zuckerberg, is that you skip unlocking a phone to get help from an AI. That's a bet that voice-first, screen-light hardware beats reaching for the device already in your pocket. It also tells you Meta doesn't think a phone app is enough of a wedge for Muse to matter.\n\nA dedicated AI gadget is a crowded, mostly disappointing category so far - see the Humane AI Pin and Rabbit R1, both panned for solving a problem nobody had. Meta has the advantage of an existing AI product and a massive user base to seed it with.
