Amazon has cut the Marshall Monitor III headphones by $80, to $199.99 from $279.99. That is a 29% discount, billed as the lowest price the headphones have hit. The sale is limited-time, and both colorways, black and cream, are included.
The Monitor III is a wireless over-ear pair with active noise cancellation, meaning the headphones listen to outside sound and generate counter-signals to mute it. Marshall says the system continuously measures ambient noise and offers three strength levels. A transparency mode pipes in surrounding sound when you need to stay aware.
Battery is the headline spec. Marshall rates the headphones at up to 70 hours with noise cancellation on and up to 100 hours with it off. Those are the company's figures, not independent tests, but even a fraction of that would stretch across a lot of commutes.
On sound, Marshall pairs its house tuning with Dynamic Loudness, which rebalances bass, mids, and treble as volume changes, and Soundstage spatial audio, which widens the stereo image. The headphones fold into an included hard case, and the ear cushions are soft for longer sessions.
The $200 mark matters because that bracket is crowded with noise-cancelling rivals from brands such as Sony and Bose. Marshall's pitch here is less about winning a spec war than about pairing its recognizable sound and styling with battery life that most competitors do not advertise. At $279.99 that was a harder sell. At $199.99 it is a more direct comparison, and one that rests on how much the tuning and the stamina are worth to you.
