Amazon has cut preorders for the Magic: The Gathering Reality Fracture Bundle to $48.49, the lowest price it has offered on the box, according to the price tracker camelcamelcamel. The list price is $57.99.
The $9.50 cut works out to 16% off. Amazon sells and ships the bundle itself. The set launches October 23, but the estimated free delivery dates are October 29 and October 31, so a preorder here will not put cards in your hands at launch. Walmart lists the bundle at the same $48.49. TCGplayer, a card marketplace, has listings as low as $47.54, which is 85 cents above its estimated market price of $46.69.
That market figure changes how the discount reads. The $46.69 estimate is about 19% below the $57.99 list price, which means list runs about 24% above what the market currently pays. Amazon's $48.49 is still roughly $1.80, or about 4%, above that estimate. So the 16% saving is real against list, but against the going rate it is a small premium rather than a bargain. A record low for Amazon is not the same as a low for the market.
The bundle holds nine Reality Fracture Play Boosters, each with a Legendary card and its alternate Echoverse version, at least one Traditional Foil, and possibly several Rares. It also includes a bundle-exclusive alternate-art foil promo, 30 Lands (10 of them Borderless), an oversized Spindown life counter, a card storage box, and two reference cards.
The alternative is the Play Booster Box, which lists at over $150 and is now under $155 at Amazon. That is roughly three times the bundle's price, so the real choice is between a modest sampler with the accessories included and a much larger commitment to the set.
