Users navigated the virtual space by speaking however they liked, with the model interpreting intent contextually rather than matching against a rigid phrase list. Evaluation leaned on eye-tracking data, SHAP explainability analysis, and a stack of standardized questionnaires covering usability (SUS), presence (IPQ), cybersickness (CSQ-VR), and cognitive load (NASA-TLX).\n\nThe headline finding is what did not happen: the LLM method produced no statistically significant differences in usability, presence, or cybersickness compared to teleportation. In a field where every new locomotion technique tends to be greeted with warnings about nausea and disorientation, clearing that bar matters.
