The leaker behind a wave of Grand Theft Auto 6 gameplay clips says the game's playable build takes up 200GB of storage.
Cyberleek, the site behind those clips, posted an update threatening to release a full build of the game if an associated crypto memecoin hit a $30 million market cap. The coin has since crashed and is nowhere near that target. Buried in the same update was a harder number: the playable build the clips were pulled from runs 200GB. That would eat more than a fifth of the usable storage on a base PS5 or Xbox Series X.
200GB would put GTA 6 among the biggest single-player file sizes around, though recent Call of Duty entries already clear that mark, multiplayer bloat included. The more interesting wrinkle is who's delivering the figure: someone who just tried to use the leak as leverage to pump their own coin, which is not the profile of a disinterested source.
Rockstar hasn't confirmed a thing, and if this build is an older, unoptimized one, the real number when the game ships on Nov. 19 could end up smaller.
