Apple shipped the third public beta of iOS 27.2, macOS Golden Gate 27.2, iPadOS 27.2, and watchOS 27.2 today, a few hours after the developer build went out.
The headline addition is the redesigned Health app Apple previewed at its September iPhone event. It now has Insights and Longevity tabs that dig deeper into fitness and health data, plus a Health Age feature that turns your metrics into a single number you can compare against your actual age. The Apple TV app picks up new profile options, and Siri's AI features are now available in five more languages: French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish. Anyone enrolled in Apple's beta program can grab the update now through Software Update.
Health Age is Apple's version of a trick wearable makers have used for years: Fitbit and Garmin both sell a similar "fitness age" metric to make raw numbers feel personal. In other words, Apple is validating that framing, not inventing it, which says more about where the health-tracking market has settled than about any new capability.
The Siri language rollout is incremental, not the rebuilt assistant Apple has promised since last year's AI stumbles: localization work, not a comeback.
