iOS 27.2 is on its way, and it's bringing six new features to the iPhone.
The update redesigns the Health app into three tabs: Insights for current vitals, Longevity for long-term trends, and Browse for everything else. Messages gains Suggestions, which reads conversation context and offers one-tap actions like adding a calendar event or pulling up a relevant photo. Group FaceTime calls now support Dual Capture, letting users share both their front and rear camera feeds at once. Smaller additions include a Call Context feature that flags contact anniversaries, a two-section revamp of Apple Podcasts' Up Next queue, and user profiles for the Apple TV app on iPhone.
The headline feature isn't really new. Suggestions in Messages is Apple matching what Google's Magic Cue and Samsung's Now Nudge have offered for a while, and it was actually pulled from the original iOS 27 beta before resurfacing here. The rest of the update reads as cleanup: Apple TV profiles have existed on tvOS for years, and splitting Up Next into two lists is a minor fix nobody was clamoring for.
Coming right after the iPhone 18 Pro, Pro Max, and iPhone Duo launch, iOS 27.2 looks less like a showcase and more like Apple tidying up loose ends.
