Internxt is selling a lifetime 100TB storage plan for $974.97, a one-time fee instead of a monthly bill.
During its September flash sale, Internxt cut the price of a lifetime 100TB plan to $974.97, down from a listed $9,900. The offer is for new customers and covers encrypted storage across Internxt's desktop, web, and mobile apps. Internxt says the plan uses end-to-end encryption it cannot unlock itself, and points to GDPR compliance and a Securitum audit as evidence. Pay once, the pitch goes, and the monthly bill disappears for good.
Cloud storage is normally a subscription treadmill. Apple's largest iCloud tier, 12TB, costs $59.99 a month, which adds up to roughly $7,200 over ten years. A four-figure lump sum for more than eight times that space is a real financial argument, provided Internxt is still around in a decade to honor it.
That is the catch with every lifetime storage deal: the lifetime in question belongs to the company, not to you. Treat that $9,900 list price as a marketing anchor, not a real baseline.
