The Garmin vivoactive 5 dropped to $181.97 from $299.99, the Fitbit Sense 2 sits at $199.95, and the budget Fitbit Charge 6 is down to $131.56. Samsung's Galaxy Watch 7 fell to $159, more than $90 off, and the rugged Garmin fenix 7X Pro is $674, a $325.99 cut. Even the Apple Watch Ultra 3 got a rare discount, down $199.03 to $699.97.\n\nApple Watch markdowns are unusual outside holiday sales, so one showing up on the first day of a Prime event signals Amazon is pushing harder on premium wearables to pull buyers in early. The range of brands and price points, from a $131 budget Fitbit to a $674 Garmin built for ultramarathons, also shows this sale is less about one hero deal and more about covering every tier of shopper.\n\nNone of that means every price here beats what you'd find in a typical month, so it's worth checking a price-history tool before buying rather than trusting the sale badge alone.","[\"fitness trackers\",\"prime day\",\"wearables\",\"amazon deals\"]","2026-10-06T07:00:00.000Z","2026-10-06T14:12:06.788Z","2026-10-06T14:12:11.655Z","published",null,[24],{"id":25,"reviewer":26,"round":27,"reason":28,"status":29},"editor-r1","editor",1,"The draft twice frames the deals as happening 'a day before' the Prime Big Deal Days event opens, but the source states the event runs Oct. 6-7 and today's date is Oct. 6 — so the event is already live, not still a day away; fix the timing language to reflect that the sale has started.","resolved","deals",[32,33,34,35],"fitness trackers","prime day","wearables","amazon deals",[37],{"name":38,"url":39},"Mashable","https:\u002F\u002Fmashable.com\u002Ftech\u002Fbest-october-prime-day-fitness-trackers-deals-2026",0,{"sections":42},[43,48,53,58,62,67,72,77,82,87,92,97,102,107],{"name":44,"slug":45,"count":46,"latest_published_at":47},"AI","ai",6347,"2026-10-06T07:49:07.000Z",{"name":49,"slug":50,"count":51,"latest_published_at":52},"Security","security",879,"2026-10-06T00:00:38.000Z",{"name":54,"slug":55,"count":56,"latest_published_at":57},"Policy","policy",463,"2026-10-05T23:16:24.000Z",{"name":59,"slug":30,"count":60,"latest_published_at":61},"Deals",374,"2026-10-06T09:00:00.000Z",{"name":63,"slug":64,"count":65,"latest_published_at":66},"Hardware","hardware",211,"2026-10-05T21:14:08.000Z",{"name":68,"slug":69,"count":70,"latest_published_at":71},"Science","science",182,"2026-10-05T18:58:12.000Z",{"name":73,"slug":74,"count":75,"latest_published_at":76},"Consumer Tech","consumer-tech",162,"2026-10-06T09:00:14.000Z",{"name":78,"slug":79,"count":80,"latest_published_at":81},"Software","software",103,"2026-10-05T18:23:19.000Z",{"name":83,"slug":84,"count":85,"latest_published_at":86},"Dev Tools","dev-tools",99,"2026-10-05T10:47:06.000Z",{"name":88,"slug":89,"count":90,"latest_published_at":91},"Startups","startups",96,"2026-10-05T20:24:09.000Z",{"name":93,"slug":94,"count":95,"latest_published_at":96},"Gaming","gaming",54,"2026-10-05T19:07:04.000Z",{"name":98,"slug":99,"count":100,"latest_published_at":101},"General","general",53,"2026-10-05T22:05:42.000Z",{"name":103,"slug":104,"count":105,"latest_published_at":106},"Reviews","reviews",33,"2026-10-05T11:57:17.000Z",{"name":108,"slug":109,"count":110,"latest_published_at":111},"How-To","how-to",8,"2026-10-05T09:00:00.000Z"]
