Both versions carried a $649.99 price tag at launch, so the newer one is now more than $175 off and the older one $250 off. Amazon's own listing for the 2025 model shows $470.00. The Galaxy Watch Ultra2, which arrived this year, is listed there at $674.99 for the 47mm LTE version. Prices can change without notice.\n\nThat last number explains part of the discounting. The Ultra2 costs $25 more than its predecessor did at launch, and the older models now sit well below it. The gap between the two older watches is $71.79. For that, you get 64GB of storage instead of 32GB and the newer colors. Unless you plan to load a lot onto the watch itself, the 2024 model looks like the better value.\n\nThe hardware is aimed at outdoor use, which is how it competes with the Apple Watch Ultra. The case is Grade 4 titanium with an IP68 dust and water rating. It is rated to 10ATM (about 330 feet underwater) and to altitudes up to 9,000 meters, and it has a built-in emergency siren. The 1.47-inch Super AMOLED screen is brighter than earlier Samsung AMOLED watches. The 590mAh battery lasts about 60 hours with no power-saving modes and up to 100 hours with them. It comes in one size, 47mm, which will rule it out for smaller wrists.\n\nThose buyers have a cheaper route. The Galaxy Watch 7 is $220, down from $329.99, which is $179.99 below the discounted 2024 Ultra.","[\"samsung\",\"smartwatch\",\"galaxy-watch-ultra\",\"deals\"]","2026-10-16T19:00:00.000Z","2026-10-18T12:04:37.955Z","2026-10-18T12:04:39.015Z","published",null,[24,30],{"id":25,"reviewer":26,"round":27,"reason":28,"status":29},"editor-r1","editor",1,"Fix the date and claim errors: the dek calls the 2024 model 'last year's' and the body calls the 2025 version 'last year's watch', but the source context points to 2026, so the 2024 model is two years old; also, the source says the 2025 refresh added double the storage and new colors, so don't call storage 'the whole difference' (or say it's the same watch) without support.","resolved",{"id":31,"reviewer":26,"round":32,"reason":33,"status":29},"editor-r2",2,"The date and storage problems are fixed, but the body still says 'the source names storage and colors as the changes...
