Forza Horizon 6 lands on PS5 January 26, with its first expansion close behind.
Microsoft confirmed Forza Horizon 6 will launch on PlayStation 5 on January 26. The racing game's first expansion is also set to arrive on PS5 early next year, though an exact date hasn't been announced. No pricing or edition details for the PS5 version have been shared yet. The announcement makes clear this isn't a one-off port, but a continued release plan for the console.
Forza Horizon has long been one of Xbox's marquee exclusives, so a same-era PS5 launch signals Microsoft now treats platform exclusivity as optional rather than strategic. For PS5 owners, it means access to one of the better open-world racers without buying a second console.
Call it the quiet death of console-wars marketing, one racing franchise at a time.
