Amazon is knocking $250 off Dreame's L40 Ultra Gen 2 robot vacuum and mop, and the site's countdown timer says today is the last day to get it.
As of October 12, the L40 Ultra Gen 2 is priced at $499.99 instead of its usual $749.99 on Amazon, a deal tied to a 24-hour countdown. The robot combines 25,000Pa suction across five adjustable power levels with a DuoScrub mopping system that runs two high-speed mop pads over hard floors. An extendable brush and mop arm reaches under furniture and into corners that fixed-arm models skip. Dreame also built in Smart Pathfinder mapping and 3DAdapt obstacle detection, meant to steer the robot around shoes and toys, plus up to 231 minutes of runtime per charge in Vacuum Mode.
This isn't an isolated flash sale - it's one of several robot vacuum discounts still running at Amazon in the weeks after October's Prime Day event, which suggests retailers are clearing inventory rather than reacting to sudden demand. Worth remembering: a 24-hour countdown timer is a standard urgency tool, not proof the price won't reappear.
If you miss today's window, don't assume the deal is gone for good. Robot vacuum prices have a habit of dipping again within weeks of a Prime Day cycle, countdown timer or not.
