DJI's priciest mini drone just got $500 cheaper.
Amazon has cut the price of the DJI Mini 5 Pro Fly More Combo to $1,099, down from its usual $1,599. The bundle includes the RC 2 smart controller and three batteries, plus extra gear. The drone itself packs a 1-inch CMOS sensor, a size usually reserved for larger drones, shooting 4K video at 60 fps in HDR with 120 fps slow-motion. It also carries 42GB of built-in storage and a gimbal that rotates a full 225 degrees for vertical video for TikTok or Instagram Reels.
Most sub-250-gram drones trade image quality for portability. The Mini 5 Pro does not, and it backs that sensor with 360-degree obstacle sensing - forward-facing LiDAR plus vision sensors that steer the drone around branches, power lines, and buildings even in low light. That, combined with ActiveTrack 360 for automatic subject tracking, is normally the pitch for DJI's bigger, heavier drones.
It's a sign the gap between DJI's mini and flagship lines keeps shrinking, without adding an ounce to what pilots have to carry.
