DJI's Mini 3 drone just dropped to $269, the lowest price it's ever hit, as part of October Prime Day.
Amazon cut the Mini 3 from its usual $419 to $269, a $150 discount, for a limited window. That's notable because drone deals were nowhere to be found for most of this Prime Day event, even as categories like earbuds and tablets saw markdowns weeks before the sale officially started. The Mini 3 uses Dual Native ISO Fusion to recover detail in highlights and shadows in both day and night footage, plus a True Vertical Shooting mode built for skyscrapers and waterfalls. Fly it for fun rather than work, and you skip FAA registration and Remote ID requirements entirely.
The bigger story is what the hold-up says about how DJI prices its drones compared to other gadget categories: tighter, and later. Dropping below $300 also pulls vertical-shooting and dual-ISO features, previously a mid-tier perk, into first-drone-buyer territory instead of upgrade territory.
The listing calls it a limited-time deal, which in retail terms means 'until we decide it isn't.' Worth grabbing before it snaps back to $419.
