DJI's creator gear is already discounted ahead of Amazon's October Prime Day.
Amazon has cut prices across DJI's drone, camera, mic, and power-station lineups weeks before the main event. The DJI Mini 3 drone is down to $399 from $419. The Osmo Pocket 3 Creator Combo, a pocket vlogging camera with a 1-inch sensor and 4K/120fps recording, drops to $549 from $629. The Mic 3 wireless microphone system, which supports four transmitters and up to 28 hours of battery life, falls to $259 from $329. The Power 2000 V2 portable power station is cut nearly in half, from $1,299 to $759.99.
The discounts aren't uniform, and that's the real story. The Mini 3's $20 cut barely moves the needle - the drone has sold for as little as $299 before - while the power station's $539 drop is a genuine deal close to its usual Prime Day depth. That gap suggests retailers are using a few headline-grabbing cuts to pull shoppers in early, while holding the rest back for October.
Treat these as a preview, not the floor. If the Mini 3 has already sold for $100 less than today's price, there's little reason to assume $399 is as good as it gets before Prime Day actually arrives.
