The deal folds that enforcement layer directly into Collibra's existing data governance platform.\n\nThe EU AI Act's enforcement powers kicked in on Aug. 2, turning compliance from a paperwork exercise into something with real penalties attached. That timing makes an automated rule checker look less like a nice-to-have and more like insurance.
