The Bose Ultra Open Earbuds are still on sale at their Prime Day price, no membership required.
As of June 27, Amazon is selling the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds for $199, down from their standard $299. That $100 discount matches the lowest price these earbuds have hit on the platform. The sale is running post-Prime Day alongside similar holdover deals on Apple AirPods, Sony headphones, and other audio gear — so the window is real but not indefinite.
The Bose Ultra Open sit outside the ear rather than plugging into it, a design that keeps ambient sound audible while still delivering audio. That makes them a different trade-off than noise-canceling earbuds: you get awareness over isolation, which appeals to runners and commuters who need to hear their surroundings. Bose was among the first to push this form factor into the mainstream, and the category has since attracted imitators.
At $199, they're still not cheap — Sony and Anker both sell open-ear options for considerably less. But if comfort and sound quality are the priority over price, the record-low cuts the usual premium by a third.
