Bose's second-generation QuietComfort headphones are $40 cheaper at Amazon right now, dropping to $319 in every colorway ahead of Prime Day.
The sale cuts the regular $359 price across all colors on the 2nd-gen QuietComfort headphones. The headphones weigh half a pound, use a wider headband, and have pill-shaped earcups meant to cut ear fatigue. They run upgraded QuietControl active noise cancellation with ActiveSense tech that adapts to sudden noise spikes, plus Bose's new TrueSpatial Technology, which adds Cinema, Still, and Motion listening modes. USB-C lossless audio and swappable ear cups round out the upgrades over the original model.
At $319, these sit $130 below Bose's flagship QuietComfort Ultra and $230 below Apple's AirPods Max, while reviewers have said they close most of the comfort and noise-cancellation gap with the pricier Ultra model. That makes this one of the rare Prime Day-adjacent deals where the cheaper option isn't obviously the compromise pick.
Equalizer options in Bose's app are still basic, so if you want fine-tuned sound, that's the one real catch here, not the price.
