Amazon has cut the price of Bluetti's Elite 300 portable power station by $400, down to $1,098.99 from its $1,499 list price.
The Elite 300 packs 3,014Wh of LiFePO4 battery capacity into a case about 59% smaller than typical units of similar size, and it puts out 2,400 watts continuously with surges up to 4,800 watts. It comes with a built-in TT-30 RV plug and a 12V/30A DC outlet, so it can run a camper's fridge, water pump, and heater without adapters. It recharges to 80% in 78 minutes from a wall outlet, solar, or a car, and app control over WiFi or Bluetooth lets you monitor and toggle outputs remotely. On outage, it switches to battery backup in 10 milliseconds, fast enough that a router or CPAP machine keeps running uninterrupted.
Portable power stations above 3,000Wh usually come with the size and weight of a mini fridge, which is exactly the tradeoff that's kept them out of trunks and closets. Shrinking that footprint while keeping RV-specific outputs is the more interesting engineering story here than the discount itself, since it points to battery packaging getting good enough to make high-capacity units actually portable rather than just powerful.
A $400 cut on a single retailer listing is still a deal, not a trend, and list prices on power stations move around often enough that today's discount could reappear or vanish by next week's sale cycle.
