On the list: an OLED touchscreen MacBook Pro, a standard M6 14-inch MacBook Pro, an M6 iMac, and an OLED iPad mini. A Mac Studio with 512GB of RAM is expected later in the month, separate from that event. None of the new Macs will reach customers in October - they debut this month but don't ship until November, with a launch as early as November 6 if pre-orders open on announcement day.\n\nFour Mac refreshes and a new iPad mini landing in the same week is a lot of hardware for Apple to unveil without a stage event, suggesting the company is clearing its 2026 backlog before the holiday shopping window closes. The announce-now-ship-later pattern mirrors how Apple handled the \"Welcome Home\" devices, and it means reviews and comparisons will lag the actual announcements by weeks.\n\nPair that with iPhone Duo pre-orders starting October 16, a HomePod mini 2 on October 30, and a pile of 27.2 software updates, and Apple's October calendar looks less like a product launch and more like a clearance sale timed to Black Friday.","[\"apple\",\"macbook-pro\",\"iphone-duo\",\"product-launches\"]","2026-10-13T23:47:04.000Z","2026-10-14T00:52:26.008Z","2026-10-14T00:52:31.824Z","published",null,[24,30,34],{"id":25,"reviewer":26,"round":27,"reason":28,"status":29},"editor-r1","editor",1,"The dek claims 'OLED Macs' (plural) but the body only attributes OLED to one model (the OLED touchscreen MacBook Pro) — the M6 14-inch MacBook Pro and M6 iMac aren't described as OLED in the source, so fix the dek to not imply multiple OLED Mac models.","resolved",{"id":31,"reviewer":26,"round":32,"reason":33,"status":29},"editor-r2",2,"The dek now correctly attributes OLED to only one Mac, but its phrasing — \"new Macs, including an OLED touchscreen MacBook Pro, and an OLED iPad mini\" — grammatically lists the iPad mini as one of the \"new Macs\"; rephrase so the iPad mini is clearly a separate, non-Mac product.",{"id":35,"reviewer":26,"round":36,"reason":37,"status":29},"editor-r3",3,"The headline says \"Two Macs\" but the body details four Mac products (OLED MacBook Pro, M6 MacBook Pro, M6 iMac, Mac Studio) — fix the headline count so it reconciles with what's actually listed.","hardware",[40,41,42,43],"apple","macbook-pro","iphone-duo","product-launches",[45],{"name":46,"url":47},"MacRumors","https:\u002F\u002Fwww.macrumors.com\u002F2026\u002F10\u002F13\u002Fapple-october-upcoming-products\u002F",0,{"sections":50},[51,56,61,66,71,75,80,85,90,95,100,105,110,115],{"name":52,"slug":53,"count":54,"latest_published_at":55},"AI","ai",6990,"2026-10-13T20:09:54.000Z",{"name":57,"slug":58,"count":59,"latest_published_at":60},"Security","security",977,"2026-10-14T01:30:42.000Z",{"name":62,"slug":63,"count":64,"latest_published_at":65},"Policy","policy",505,"2026-10-13T22:48:12.000Z",{"name":67,"slug":68,"count":69,"latest_published_at":70},"Deals","deals",501,"2026-10-13T22:00:00.000Z",{"name":72,"slug":38,"count":73,"latest_published_at":74},"Hardware",252,"2026-10-14T00:42:28.000Z",{"name":76,"slug":77,"count":78,"latest_published_at":79},"Consumer Tech","consumer-tech",213,"2026-10-14T00:44:32.000Z",{"name":81,"slug":82,"count":83,"latest_published_at":84},"Science","science",201,"2026-10-13T23:13:31.000Z",{"name":86,"slug":87,"count":88,"latest_published_at":89},"Startups","startups",132,"2026-10-13T21:15:00.000Z",{"name":91,"slug":92,"count":93,"latest_published_at":94},"Software","software",123,"2026-10-13T21:33:43.000Z",{"name":96,"slug":97,"count":98,"latest_published_at":99},"Dev Tools","dev-tools",116,"2026-10-13T16:20:18.000Z",{"name":101,"slug":102,"count":103,"latest_published_at":104},"General","general",77,"2026-10-13T22:42:18.000Z",{"name":106,"slug":107,"count":108,"latest_published_at":109},"Gaming","gaming",65,"2026-10-13T19:00:48.000Z",{"name":111,"slug":112,"count":113,"latest_published_at":114},"Reviews","reviews",36,"2026-10-13T18:00:00.000Z",{"name":116,"slug":117,"count":118,"latest_published_at":119},"How-To","how-to",8,"2026-10-05T09:00:00.000Z"]
