A Milanese Loop version of the same watch is matching that discount at $699.97, down from $899, also an all-time low. The newer Ultra 4 saw a smaller markdown, landing at $774.99 across several bands. That is just $24 off its $799 price, but it still counts as a record low, beating the previous best by about $5.\n\nThe size of the gap is the real story. Apple rarely discounts a watch it is still actively selling as the current flagship, and a $24 trim on the Ultra 4 confirms that is still true here. This is a token nod to Prime Day, not a fire sale. The Ultra 3 cuts look more like retailers clearing out last year's inventory now that the Ultra 4 is the model Apple wants people buying.\n\nIf you do not need this year's chip, the Ultra 3 at $599.97 is a better deal than anything Apple itself has offered on it before.","[\"apple watch\",\"prime day\",\"deals\",\"wearables\"]","2026-10-07T12:57:27.000Z","2026-10-08T07:38:12.629Z","2026-10-08T07:38:17.832Z","published",null,[],"deals",[26,27,24,28],"apple watch","prime day","wearables",[30],{"name":31,"url":32},"MacRumors","https:\u002F\u002Fwww.macrumors.com\u002F2026\u002F10\u002F07\u002Fapple-watch-ultra-3-ultra-4-prime-day\u002F",0,{"sections":35},[36,41,46,51,55,60,65,70,75,80,85,90,95,100],{"name":37,"slug":38,"count":39,"latest_published_at":40},"AI","ai",6525,"2026-10-08T14:28:03.000Z",{"name":42,"slug":43,"count":44,"latest_published_at":45},"Security","security",918,"2026-10-08T14:20:00.000Z",{"name":47,"slug":48,"count":49,"latest_published_at":50},"Policy","policy",476,"2026-10-08T15:24:40.000Z",{"name":52,"slug":24,"count":53,"latest_published_at":54},"Deals",466,"2026-10-08T15:01:29.000Z",{"name":56,"slug":57,"count":58,"latest_published_at":59},"Hardware","hardware",225,"2026-10-08T13:10:18.000Z",{"name":61,"slug":62,"count":63,"latest_published_at":64},"Science","science",187,"2026-10-07T04:00:00.000Z",{"name":66,"slug":67,"count":68,"latest_published_at":69},"Consumer Tech","consumer-tech",178,"2026-10-08T14:16:37.000Z",{"name":71,"slug":72,"count":73,"latest_published_at":74},"Startups","startups",115,"2026-10-08T14:16:56.000Z",{"name":76,"slug":77,"count":78,"latest_published_at":79},"Software","software",113,"2026-10-07T18:10:00.000Z",{"name":81,"slug":82,"count":83,"latest_published_at":84},"Dev Tools","dev-tools",105,"2026-10-07T16:59:11.000Z",{"name":86,"slug":87,"count":88,"latest_published_at":89},"General","general",62,"2026-10-08T14:00:00.000Z",{"name":91,"slug":92,"count":93,"latest_published_at":94},"Gaming","gaming",57,"2026-10-08T15:18:41.000Z",{"name":96,"slug":97,"count":98,"latest_published_at":99},"Reviews","reviews",34,"2026-10-08T14:00:22.000Z",{"name":101,"slug":102,"count":103,"latest_published_at":104},"How-To","how-to",8,"2026-10-05T09:00:00.000Z"]
