Apple Watch Ultra 3 models have dropped to $549.00 at Best Buy, a $250 cut from $799.00 and, according to the deal listing, a new all-time low for those watches.
The Ultra 3 with a Milanese Loop band is $649.00 at Best Buy, also $250 off, and Amazon has similar $250 discounts on the Milanese Loop models. The newer Ultra 4, which launched in September, is $699.99 at Amazon, down $99 from $799.00. That only matches its all-time low rather than setting a new one.
The Mac discounts, all at Amazon, are smaller:
- M5 Max Mac Studio (36GB/512GB): $2,299.00, down from $2,499.00
- M6 Mac mini (16GB/256GB): $779.00, down from $899.00
- M6 Mac mini (16GB/512GB): $949.00, down from $1,099.00
Amazon's $9 pre-order discount on the HomeView has also returned for the Space Gray color, bringing the home hub to $289.99 from $299.00. B&H Photo has opened its own early Black Friday sale covering storage, audio, drones, cameras, and Apple products.
The percentages tell the story. The Ultra 3 is down about 31 percent. The Ultra 4 is down about 12 percent. The Mac mini models land near 13 to 14 percent, the Mac Studio at 8 percent, and the HomeView at 3 percent. The two watches started at the same $799.00 list price, yet the older one now carries a discount more than twice as large in dollars.
That fits the usual retail pattern of marking down the previous generation hardest once a successor arrives, while the new model holds closer to list. After the cuts, the Ultra 3 sits about $151 below the Ultra 4, so the buying decision comes down to whether the newer watch is worth that much more.
