For October Prime Day, Apple dropped it to $349. The watch runs the new S11 chip, which handles Siri AI, Apple Intelligence, and a feature called Audio Intelligence that transcribes the last 15 seconds of a conversation you were just part of. It also packs a heart rate sensor that checks your pulse every five seconds, up to 24 hours of battery life, and a Ceramic Shield 2 display built to resist scratches and cracks.\n\nApple almost never discounts hardware this fresh. Flagship products usually hold their price for months precisely so the discount, when it finally comes, feels like news. A markdown this soon signals Apple is leaning harder on Prime Day as a sales lever than it has in past years, even for products still early in their life cycle.\n\nThere's a cheaper option sitting right next to it: the Apple Watch SE 3 starts at $199 this Prime Day, with the older S10 chip and none of the Audio Intelligence extras, but the same cellular network support. For most buyers chasing fitness tracking and texting rather than AI party tricks, that $150 gap is the harder number to ignore.","[\"apple watch\",\"prime day\",\"wearables\",\"deals\"]","2026-10-05T21:15:53.000Z","2026-10-06T12:10:06.893Z","2026-10-06T12:10:11.879Z","published",null,[],"deals",[26,27,28,24],"apple watch","prime day","wearables",[30],{"name":31,"url":32},"Lifehacker","https:\u002F\u002Flifehacker.com\u002Ftech\u002Fapple-watch-series-12-deal-october-prime-day?utm_medium=RSS",0,{"sections":35},[36,41,46,51,55,60,65,70,75,80,85,90,95,100],{"name":37,"slug":38,"count":39,"latest_published_at":40},"AI","ai",6347,"2026-10-06T07:49:07.000Z",{"name":42,"slug":43,"count":44,"latest_published_at":45},"Security","security",879,"2026-10-06T00:00:38.000Z",{"name":47,"slug":48,"count":49,"latest_published_at":50},"Policy","policy",463,"2026-10-05T23:16:24.000Z",{"name":52,"slug":24,"count":53,"latest_published_at":54},"Deals",374,"2026-10-06T09:00:00.000Z",{"name":56,"slug":57,"count":58,"latest_published_at":59},"Hardware","hardware",211,"2026-10-05T21:14:08.000Z",{"name":61,"slug":62,"count":63,"latest_published_at":64},"Science","science",182,"2026-10-05T18:58:12.000Z",{"name":66,"slug":67,"count":68,"latest_published_at":69},"Consumer Tech","consumer-tech",162,"2026-10-06T09:00:14.000Z",{"name":71,"slug":72,"count":73,"latest_published_at":74},"Software","software",103,"2026-10-05T18:23:19.000Z",{"name":76,"slug":77,"count":78,"latest_published_at":79},"Dev Tools","dev-tools",99,"2026-10-05T10:47:06.000Z",{"name":81,"slug":82,"count":83,"latest_published_at":84},"Startups","startups",96,"2026-10-05T20:24:09.000Z",{"name":86,"slug":87,"count":88,"latest_published_at":89},"Gaming","gaming",54,"2026-10-05T19:07:04.000Z",{"name":91,"slug":92,"count":93,"latest_published_at":94},"General","general",53,"2026-10-05T22:05:42.000Z",{"name":96,"slug":97,"count":98,"latest_published_at":99},"Reviews","reviews",33,"2026-10-05T11:57:17.000Z",{"name":101,"slug":102,"count":103,"latest_published_at":104},"How-To","how-to",8,"2026-10-05T09:00:00.000Z"]
